Our client is a leading innovator in the biopharma industry and they are hiring a talented Golang Developer on join the team remotely on an initial six-month contract. The successful candidate will be instrumental in tackling complex product challenges, crafting exceptional API experiences, and collaborating across a variety of products and cutting-edge tech. 

Responsibilities

• As the Golang Devloper, you will develop and implement robust, well-documented software in Go.

• You will be responsible to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

• Engage in engineering processes, such as code and architectural reviews.

• Liaise closely with the community and team members on technical specifications.

• Lead efforts to enhance engineering and operational practices.

• Deploy and manage services created by the team.

Skillset

• Excellent knowledge of the Go programming language, frameworks and tools.

• Expertise in code versioning systems like Git.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Understanding of microservices architectures, event-driven systems and API design.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database systems.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a bonus.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and testing frameworks is an advantage.

• Skills in Python is a plus.
