Our client, a global IT services provider, are hiring a SAP Business Objects Developer to join the team on a contract basis in Boston, MA. The selected candidate will design and develop data management and business intelligence solutions using their extensive expertise in SAP Business Objects.

Responsibilities

As the SAP Business Objects Developer , you will design and build data management and business intelligence solutions.
You will be tasked to understand customer needs, data flows and operations to create Business Objects Universes and Reports.
Develop and validate reports, dashboards and cubes, ensuring thorough documentation.
Conduct analysis, write technical specifications and configure systems.
Utilize Web Intelligence 4.3 for template creation and modeling.
Develop complex Business Objects Universes using IDT and resolve system errors.
Provide technical training and coaching to internal team members.
Collaborate in various testing phases, including integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production support.

Skillset

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Objects development and design.
Extensive expertise in SAP Business Objects, especially in web intelligence reports and Universes.
Proficient in SQL with the capability to write and optimize complex queries.
In-depth understanding of Derived Tables, Aggregate Awareness, Joins and Contexts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to senior management.
Experience with various testing methodologies and user training is an advantage.
