Our client are a global IT consulting organization and they are hiring a ServiceNow Technical Architect to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions to support innovative projects within federal government.  

Responsibilities

  • As the ServiceNow Technical Architect, you will contribute to the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and compliant with best practices.

  • You will develop and configure ServiceNow applications tailored to business needs, ensuring alignment with client goals.

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions and ensure smooth project execution.

  • Lead the integration of third-party systems and technologies with ServiceNow, facilitating efficient workflows and seamless data exchange.

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing and deployment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform, offering advanced support and expertise.

  • Document technical solutions, development processes and architectural decisions to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Skillset

  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required (due to federal requirements)

  • 8+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator & Application Developer.

  • Certified in two or more mainline certifications, with preference for CIS – Customer Service Management, IT Service Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Hardware Asset Management or Software Asset Management.

  • Extensive experience across various ServiceNow modules and third-party technology integrations.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or GlideScript.

  • Strong capabilities in designing and leading complex solutions and integrations.

  • Excellent system architecture and design understanding.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Note: This role is remote but applicants must be able to commute to their office in Rockville, Maryland once a month.
