ServiceNow Technical Architect
Our client are a global IT consulting organization and they are hiring a ServiceNow Technical Architect to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions to support innovative projects within federal government.
Responsibilities

As the ServiceNow Technical Architect, you will contribute to the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and compliant with best practices.

You will develop and configure ServiceNow applications tailored to business needs, ensuring alignment with client goals.

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions and ensure smooth project execution.

Lead the integration of third-party systems and technologies with ServiceNow, facilitating efficient workflows and seamless data exchange.

Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform, offering advanced support and expertise.

Document technical solutions, development processes and architectural decisions to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Skillset
-
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required (due to federal requirements)

8+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator & Application Developer.

Certified in two or more mainline certifications, with preference for CIS – Customer Service Management, IT Service Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Hardware Asset Management or Software Asset Management.

Extensive experience across various ServiceNow modules and third-party technology integrations.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or GlideScript.

Strong capabilities in designing and leading complex solutions and integrations.

Excellent system architecture and design understanding.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Note: This role is remote but applicants must be able to commute to their office in Rockville, Maryland once a month.
