Our client, a growing healthcare startup, are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join the team in San Francisco or New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in further developing their robust system that improves real-time patient engagement and healthcare outcomes using conversational AI.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will create and implement machine learning models for conversational AI, specifically targeting SMS and voice interactions.
You will design scalable data pipelines and incorporate AI models into the technology infrastructure.
Work alongside full-stack engineers to ensure smooth integration of AI functionalities.
Keep up-to-date on the latest AI and ML advancements and trends in healthcare.

Skillset

At least four years of experience in AI/ML, specializing in NLP, LLMs and conversational AI.
Demonstrated success in deploying AI models in production settings, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proficient in Python, machine learning frameworks and cloud services.
Experience in developing conversational AI agents with knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
Previous experience in a healthcare startup is a plus.
