An AI-focused organization specializing in security solutions are hiring a Backend Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will responsible for developing and managing the systems that drive their AI-based security platform, providing secure solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

As the Backend Engineer, you will develop efficient data models and database services for core product storage.
Build and maintain robust GraphQL and REST APIs for seamless platform communication.
Create and utilize IaC parsers to translate AI recommendations into code fixes.
Deploy and secure services within a microservices architecture.
Analyze data to generate insights that improve the AI engine and guide product strategy.

Skillset

At least two years of experience in back-end software development.
Skilled in OpenAPI, GraphQL and REST for Node.js applications.
Strong data analysis abilities to derive actionable insights.
Proficient in SQL for querying, joining, and transforming data.
Experience with Java, Javscript, Python and Go.
Familiar with relational and key-value databases, such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Background in security products and handling security data.
Knowledge of parsers, metaprogramming and developer productivity tools.
Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and public cloud environments.
