Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, are hiring a Senior ServiceNow SecOps Developer to join the team on a contract basis in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will contribute in delivering top-tier solutions, optimizing system performance, and ensuring smooth integration for exceptional organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• As the Senior ServiceNow SecOps Developer, you will lead the architecture, design, configuration, development, and operational support of ServiceNow VR and SIR modules.

• You will implement and configure VR and SIR plugins across lower environments, as well as develop and maintain custom rules and workflows.

• Enhance VR and SIR functionality by creating and implementing solutions for Vulnerability Items and Test Result Records.

• Build and manage Flow Designer flows and sub-flows to improve data exchange and automation.

• Provide support for remediation workflows within Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response processes.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow Platform Administrators and CMDB Teams to ensure VR/SIR configurations align with organizational needs.

• Create runbooks, operational procedures and detailed documentation for VR and SIR processes.

• Improve reporting and performance analytics for VR and SIR to enhance decision-making and system insights.

• Administer and manage VR/SIR roles, groups, and permissions for secure and efficient access.

• Plan and coordinate upgrades for modules and related dependencies to maintain system performance and functionality.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or application development.

• Certified as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator.

• ServiceNow SecOps Implementation Certification is required.

• Extensive knowledge of integrated applications and the ServiceNow platform.

• Proven experience in application/system support and effective collaboration across teams.

• Demonstrated success in managing and delivering multiple complex projects.

• Outstanding problem-solving, communication and organizational abilities.
