Systems/Desktop Engineer

Our client, a global consulting firm, are hiring a Systems/Desktop Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing guidance to federal agencies on digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology optimization, digital architecture and financial management.

Responsibilities

• As the Systems/Desktop Engineer, you will design customer experiences, user interactions, and digital strategies, including creating experience maps and personas.

• You will develop wireframes and mock-ups for both web and mobile platforms.

• Define the features and requirements for digital products, such as web applications and mobile solutions.

• Create project plans, briefings, and other key documentation for engagements.

• Assist in business development activities, including proposal creation, client presentations, and capture management.

• Contribute to the company’s internal center of excellence by developing briefings, work products, and marketing materials.

Skillset

• Solid background in technology consulting, with a focus on the US government and public sector.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.

• Experience in Emerging Technologies (Blockchain, RPA, VR/AR, AI/ML, etc.).

• Expertise in Digital/User Experience (Digital Strategy, UX Design, IT Transformations).

• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (Cloud Strategy, CRM, Information Architecture).

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel 25-30% depending on project requirements.

Salary: $90k – $140k DOE
