Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is hiring a Software Engineer in Test to join their team and address critical challenges in government and public sector projects. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that help government clients safeguard the nation, enhance public safety and improve healthcare services.

Responsibilities

As the Software Engineer in Test, you will collaborate with development, product and QA teams to establish and achieve software testing goals.
Create, implement and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts—both automated and manual.
Integrate testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines, monitor outcomes, identify defects, and ensure overall software quality.
Continuously update and refine testing documentation, including test cases, procedures, and results.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in areas like digital strategy, user experience, cloud technologies and AI.

Skillset

US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher is a must.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
Skills in automated and manual testing eg. Selenium, Appium, Junit and TestNG.
Proven experience in testing software functionalities, analyzing outcomes, and delivering actionable feedback.
Interest or expertise in areas like emerging technologies, digital user experience or cloud strategies.
Strong communication skills.
Flexibility to travel up to 25-30% within a hybrid work environment.
