Senior ServiceNow Platform Admin (Secret)
Our client, an established IT Services and consulting organization, are hiring a Senior ServiceNow Platform Administrator (Secret Clearance required) to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing software and systems from concept to production, tackling complex challenges for clients using cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Responsibilities

As the Senior ServiceNow Platform Admin, you will manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including self-hosted installations and ongoing operations.

Design, develop, and manage ServiceNow applications and customizations, including scripting, business rules, client scripts, and data imports.

Partner with internal teams to create and implement digital accessibility solutions tailored to client requirements.

Diagnose and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Conduct regular platform upgrades, apply patches, and manage configuration settings.

Oversee system security, ensuring compliance with protocols and effective risk management practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess system performance and propose improvements that align with business needs.

Provide technical support and guidance to users, ensuring efficient and effective use of the platform.

Facilitate the integration of ServiceNow with third-party tools and technologies, such as LDAP and APIs.

Work cross-functionally with teams (e.g., development, consulting, and customer success) to ensure comprehensive service delivery and maintain high client satisfaction.
Skillset
-
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is a must.

Over 3 years of experience in ServiceNow platform administration, including self-hosted installations and ongoing system operations.

More than 3 years of experience with ServiceNow, including Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom applications, and development methodologies.

Proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS.

Strong knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support.

ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification.

Ability to obtain a Security+ CE certification within 30 days of the start date.

Experience with LDAP Integration and Web Service Integration, including API Web Services.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Development APIs and Single Sign-On configuration and administration.

ITIL v3 Foundations certification or ServiceNow Certifications (Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
