Our client, a leading global consulting firm, are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join the team in New York. Focusing on projects in the Government & Public Sector, the successful candidate will work on analyzing large datasets, building predictive models, and providing actionable insights to guide client decision-making.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will conduct data quality assessments, identify anomalies and ensure adherence to data governance standards.
You will deliver actionable insights and recommendations to shape client strategies.
Establish and maintain data quality control procedures and ensure reporting accuracy.
Audit databases to ensure proper and efficient data utilization.
Suggest process improvements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Advocate for compliance with data governance principles and ethical data practices.
Analyze relational databases and communicate complex methodologies in an understandable way.

Skillset

Capability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in data analytics.
Proficient in SQL, Python and/or R, with expertise in Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with data privacy and classification tools (e.g., Immuta, Azure IAM).
Experience in consulting or working on technical projects is a bonus.
Knowledge of cybersecurity or identity-related data is a plus.Familiarity with data privacy and classification tools (e.g., Immuta, Azure IAM).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
