Our client, an exciting Fintech company disrupting the insurance sector, are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the team in California. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding their core product, collaborating directly with customers and cross-functional teams to develop new features, dashboards, and checkout processes.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible to develop applications and services using Rails and JavaScript.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to define and create new products.
Contribute to the design and implementation of the organization’s technical architecture and processes.

Skillset

At least five years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Web Developer.
Extensive experience working with relational databases.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling consumer products.
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Next.js.
Experience in developing external APIs and integrations (eg. Salesforce).
Background in building payment, checkout or insurance-related products is a bonus.
Strong enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and solving business challenges.
