Our client, an IT Services and Consulting firm, are hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Configuration Manager to join the team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing master data management solutions, ensuring data governance compliance with DoD industry standards, and maintaining a secure IT environment.
Responsibilities

As the Configuration Manager, you will develop and maintain master data management solutions to optimize system performance and capabilities.

You will coordinate and integrate data management efforts to ensure effective data governance across the organization.

Lead projects to analyze, cleanse, enrich and monitor master data elements.

Provide daily support for configuration management planning and execution.
-
Review and implement DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for Microsoft Windows and applications.

Create and update DISA STIG checklists, including modifying Microsoft Group Policies to meet STIG requirements.

Manage the source change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are implemented.

Establish and maintain provisions for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.

Build and deploy SCCM installation packages for applications, operating system updates, and patches, verifying deployment success through reporting tools.

Prepare and deliver monthly status reports summarizing task progress and outlining future work plans.
Skillset
-
Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
-
At least 3 years of experience in software configuration management.

Hands-on experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Possess current cybersecurity qualifications to perform IT privileged administrative functions in compliance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) and DoDM 8140.03.

Meet DCWF Work Role [804] Foundation Qualifications.

Completion of programs listed in the DoD 8140 Training Repository.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

Relevant certifications, such as:

CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)

EC-Council Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
