Our client, a leading IT Services organization, are hiring a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant to join the California team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on complex, high-impact projects that enhance business strategy and efficiency, while playing a key role in shaping the future of IT asset management solutions for their clients.
Responsibilities

As a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant, you will collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, practical solutions that enhance efficiency.

You will provide expert guidance on planning, designing, configuring, testing and implementing ServiceNow solutions tailored to client needs.

Develop detailed documentation such as agendas, presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams and role definitions.

Ensure that all process-related deliverables meet quality standards, timelines and provide value to the client.

Advise clients on how to effectively use ServiceNow tools and features to maximize value and drive efficiency.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and offer strategic recommendations to optimize asset management workflows.

Assist with pre-sales and marketing events to showcase ServiceNow capabilities.

Serve as a liaison between asset management teams, ServiceNow developers and key stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of asset management processes.

Manage the entire lifecycle of asset management processes in close collaboration with process owners.

Provide training and create instructional materials to promote the adoption of ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro.
Skillset
-
Minimum of ten years of experience in IT asset management and process consulting.

Five years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation, and technical support.

In-depth knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its integration with asset management and IT service management processes.

Practical experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.

Extensive experience with ServiceNow HAM, SAM, EAM and CMDB modules.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-faceted projects with a strong focus on detail.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Current ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM) is highly desirable.

ITIL certifications is a plus.

Prior experience as an ITAM or CMDB manager or process owner is a bonus.
