Our client, who are on a mission to unlock the power of AI for everyone, is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing team in. The successful candidate will design and implement decentralized AI training pipelines, optimize performance and cost efficiency, and explore innovative techniques for training in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

As the ML Engineer, you will develop and optimize machine learning models for applications in computer vision, NLP and multimedia processing.
You will clean and preprocess data to create robust datasets for model training.
Train deep learning models across various hardware configurations, fine-tuning for performance and efficiency using techniques such as quantization.
Evaluate and enhance model accuracy and robustness using appropriate metrics and experimentation.
Deploy models in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability across cloud and on-premises setups.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Maintain and retrain deployed models to ensure continued performance.
Optimize GPU-based training performance and improve infrastructure efficiency through benchmarking.
Lead MLOps initiatives, including the development of custom models for specific use cases and enhancement of internal evaluation processes.

Skillset

At least two years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering.
Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax.
Experience in building, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning and LLMs.
Strong analytical skills to navigate trade-offs in ML systems.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques is a plus.
Contributions to open-source projects is a bonus.
Experience in a startup environment.
Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end with a high degree of ownership.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
