Role: Full Stack Developer
Location: Reston VA – 95% remote but candidates need to live the DC Metro area
Clearance:  MBI/IRS clearance required
Rate: $75 C2C

Our client, a growing Cybersecurity & IT Services company, is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that support the client’s mission of efficiently serving the public.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure applications are optimized for various devices and platforms.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end and back-end functionalities.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to propose enhancements and improvements.

• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• Active IRS MBI Clearance is a must.

• Proficiency in ReactJS for front-end development.

• Strong experience with Java Spring Boot for back-end development.

• Familiarity with Postgres for database management.

• Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation.

• Proficient in version control using Git and GitHub.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI specification for API documentation.

• Proficient in testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
