Our client, an AI and Data driven company, are hiring a Senior Geospatial AI/ML Engineer to join the team in San Francisco or Seattle. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals to help develop the company’s advanced ML and AI platform and drive large-scale, real-world geospatial applications.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Geospatial AI/ML Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the architecture and systems for their unique ML and AI platform.
Lead the integration of ML capabilities into their cloud platform and analytics engine with a focus on customer needs.
Develop solutions for distributed geospatial model training and inference, seamlessly integrated into the platform.
Build, train and fine-tune foundational geospatial models.
Work with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality software.
Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in geospatial AI/ML technologies.

Skillset

At least five years of experience building geospatial AI/ML pipelines and systems.
Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Demonstrated success in delivering AI/ML-driven products in production environments.
In-depth knowledge of cloud-based software architectures, distributed systems, data structures and algorithms.
Practical experience with Java or Scala programming.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in hybrid or distributed teams.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
