Our client, an AI-driven startup revolutionizing the government sector, is hiring a VP of Engineering to join their team in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in scaling SaaS platforms and Generative AI technologies to drive innovation, grow the engineering team and propel the company’s rapid expansion.

Responsibilities

As the VP of Engineering, you will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Develop and implement a scalable engineering strategy aligned with company objectives.
Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality, scalability and security.
Collaborate with product, design and data science teams to drive innovation.
Establish and enforce best practices, agile methodologies and AI-driven solutions.
Drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency.
Provide technical leadership, participate in hands-on coding and conduct code reviews.

Skillset

Excellent track record of scaling SaaS products.
Extensive expertise in SaaS engineering, AI and cloud technologies.
Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
Proficiency in Generative AI technologies and frameworks, including LangChain, OpenAI/Azure AI APIs and Vector Databases.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, GovCloud, Kubernetes and large-scale data ingestion processes.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to pass a Federal Background Check.
