Our client, a VC-backed AI-focused startup impacting in the government sector, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will play a key role in refining their AI-driven platform to improve performance, reliability and user experience.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from inception to deployment.
Work closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into effective technical solutions.
Enhance system performance, security and scalability.
Implement and improve AI-driven features.
Diagnose and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

Skillset

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
At least five years of experience in software development, specializing in SaaS platforms.
Proficiency in React, Next.js, Python and modern frontend/backend frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as LangChain, LangGraph and vector databases.
Strong background in developing responsive, mobile-friendly web applications.
Familiarity with OpenAI/AzureAI APIs and Agentic AI frameworks is a plus.
Expertise in LangChain, Llama Index and AI-powered SaaS solutions.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a federal background check.
