Our client, an AI-driven company solving complex data challenges, are hiring a hands-on Director of Engineering to join the team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and scaling the engineering team and infrastructure while helping to shape the future of AI-powered data solutions.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Engineering, you will build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, promoting continuous learning and innovation.
Drive the engineering vision, managing priorities, requirements, and deliverables.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions.

Skillset

Minimum of five years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least one year in a leadership role.
Strong passion for tackling complex challenges, with a proven history of building and scaling successful engineering teams.
Experience in developing products from the ground up, confidently taking ownership of technical projects.
Expertise in full-stack engineering, agile development methodologies, and making trade-offs to optimize functionality, speed and resource allocation.
Proficient in JavaScript (React or Vue), Node.js / NestJS and Python.
