Network Security Contractor – Dublin – Immediate Start
Rate: €400-500 per day
Contract: 3-month rolling
Location: Dublin (3 days onsite per week)

Alldus are hiring an experienced Network Security Contractor to support a leading Irish enterprise with remediation advisory and implementation. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with stakeholders to enhance security infrastructure and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on security remediation and implementation of best practices.
• Manage and optimize firewalls, proxies, and IPS/IDS to strengthen network defenses.
• Conduct performance evaluations to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and engage with stakeholders to align security measures with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Skillset

• Proven expertise in firewall management, network security, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Strong knowledge of proxies and security performance evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with leading firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, etc.).
• Ability to analyze security threats and implement effective remediation strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Previous experience in an enterprise environment with a strong security focus.
