Job Description
We've partnered with a leading Biotech company based in Cambridge, MA company who are launching a new very well backed wearable digital medicine platform. They're looking for their new Associate Director of Data Science with a background in clinical and Real World Data to lead the new team.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (ideally MS or Ph.D)
- Digital Medicine Experience
- Experience within Data Science
- 4+ years in Healthcare data
- 2 years minimum experience leading and building a team
- Proficient in multiple analytics and programming languages such as R, Python etc.
- Ability to work to fast timelines and long term goals
- Knowledge of patient-centered outcomes, medical device research, wearable data analytics, endpoint development, and ePRO solutions
- Experience analyzing data from wearable devices and health mobile applications
- Ability to build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong programming capacity and data visualization using tools (such as R or python)
- Oncology experience a plus
- Experience with Real-World data is a plus
The Role
- Design/implement the integration of digital medicine into clinical studies
- Provide intelligence for emerging technologies to support the development of novel clinical endpoints
- Design and deliver validation studies/projects and technology development initiatives to evaluate feasibility, and suitability of wearable sensors
- Provide ongoing leadership on operational considerations related to the integration of digital technologies in clinical trials
- Make sure to keep a smooth operation, productive execution, efficient communication, data interpretation, and internal alignment across all stakeholders
- Produce written research reports, data outputs, validation protocols, regulatory reports, and strategic roadmaps as needed
- You need to have worked spanning across Data Engineering and Data Science
- Work with Real world, clinical and genomics data
- You'll be key to creating an new first in class multi-disciplined team combining Clinical research, Digital medicine, Real world evidence and Biostatistics
