About the Role
They are looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team that is dedicated to diving into data and thinking analytically about business problems and user behaviors. A successful candidate will be a highly collaborative Data Scientist that has the intuition to identify important analytical questions, the technical ability for complex deep dives, and the communication skills to help the team turn ideas into action.
Responsibilities:
- Gaining a detailed understanding of the cyber risk landscape
- Researching and curating data sets to support quantification of cyber risk
- Performing exploratory data analysis on new data sets
- Cleaning large raw data sets and transforming them into features
- Developing and evaluating machine learning models
- Continually evaluating and improving models in production
- Keeping up to date with the latest tools, methods, and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher in a technical degree, with specializations related to computer science preferred
- Natural language processing
- Cyber security & insurance experience is not required but would be looked upon favorably.
- Bayesian statistics & probabilistic programming (nice to have)
- Experience with deep learning (Keras, PyTorch, Tensor Flow)
- Experience with large scale stochastic modeling (nice to have)
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (GCP)
- Modern data science platforms (Databricks Delta Lake House, etc.)
