We are building the world’s largest dataset of street-level intelligence and global threat patterns. We are searching for an outstanding data engineer that can build, define and mature the models, data pipelines, and warehouse to aid in this objective. This person should have the technical skills to make good judgements and quick decisions that contribute to leadership relative to our architecture strategy, while also exceling at mapping that strategy into a clever plan and executing it.



-Test, build, and maintain robust ingestion and transformation pipelines including the injection of NLP models to extract and augment data from free text sources.

- Develop data transformation, validation and analysis methods to augment the utility and actionability of data

- Add GIS data architecture strategies, and drive transformation and implementation activities resulting from those strategies.

- Mature and develop data models with respect to consumption patterns and performance objectives.

-Operationalize data quality from end to end, while ensuring visibility and timely remediation of data quality issues.



  • 5 or more years of experience implementing and maintaining data warehouses, performing schema migrations, and data models. Robust knowledge of SQL
  • 5 or more years of experience of building production level data and standing up the platforms to support them
  • First hand experience working with GIS enables data stores, PostGIS, e.g, Snowflake, DataBricks, and data platforms, e.g.
  •  Able to demonstrate thought leadership on operationalizing data quality.
  • Great collaborator across functional areas including infrastructure, SW development, product, and data science.
  • Has worked with AWS pipeline tools including step functions
  • Demonstrates though leadership on operationalizing data quality.
