Sr. Solutions Architect - Remote (East Coast)


In this role, the Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams, by:

  • Providing deep technical expertise to support the strategic initiatives and development needs of our clients
  • Engaging in conversations with business partners to identify requirements, needs and gaps aimed at technology driven transformation
  • Evaluating existing tools, technologies, processes and capabilities
  • Providing technology expertise and oversight on design, development and implementation of strategic programs and projects
  • Leading the analysis, architecture, and design implementation for technology projects employing sound solution architecture practices
  • Delivering artifacts, technical analysis documents and architectural designs that meet business requirements; oversees design reviews and frameworks
  • Lead and support proof of concepts and test and learn activities
  • Exercise experience and influence to make well informed technology build vs buy, platform and integration decisions in a rapidly growing and evolving environment
  • Collaborate and develop relationships with delivery teams and other Enterprise technology teams by partnering, sharing and leveraging best practices and solutions
  • Mentor and guide peers and junior talent to help create a pool of technically strong subject matter experts
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for and oversee their respective technical or project team
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.

  • Travel (up to 30%)
  • Hours (8+ hours per day, five days a week)

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education(i.e. degree required)  
    • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience and/or Training(i.e. the kind of skills and knowledge and number of years required)  
    • 8+ years of relevant professional experience 
    • Experience leading a dynamic team of digital professionals
    • A history of academic or professional success, including a functional knowledge or passion for digital, healthcare, and life sciences, digital strategy, etc.
  • Technology/Equipment (if applicable, the proficiencies required to perform the job) 
    • Proficiency in all of the following:
    • HTML markup
    • SASS/CSS, preferably BEM style
    • JavaScript: vanilla DOM manipulation, jQuery, Ajax, Promises, and asynchronous programming patterns
  • Strong back-end development experience in the .NET stack with a focus on C#, SQL and the MVC web application framework
  • Microsoft Azure Experience
    • Azure Blob storage
    • App Service
    • Azure DNS and Traffic Manager
    • SQL Database
    • Azure Functions
  • Understanding of Salesforce, including workbench, objects and common org configurations
  • Experience creating, configuring and maintaining build tools, like Gulp and Node JS
  • Strong responsive development skills, supporting difference devices and web browsers
  • Source code management via Git
  • Experience and understanding of DNS and networking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


  • Education
    • Advanced degree in technology or computer science preferred
  • Experience and/or Training(i.e. the kind of skills and knowledge and number of years required) 
    • Agency or relevant work experience is preferred 
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the therapeutic areas, science, markets, and products for all assigned accounts
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and has ability to manage expectations effectively
  • Technology/Equipment
    • Microsoft Azure certification
    • DevOps experience
    • Continuous integration and deployment tools, like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or CodeDeploy
    • Native or platform-based mobile application development experience
    • .NET CMS experience with Episerver, Crownpeak or Sitecore
