My client is a global leader in the Financial Services sector and they are undergoing a rapid digital transformation on their mission to take their product and services to the next level.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Cloud Architect to define the architecture for new and existing products and services and have a key impact in shaping the company’s next-generation offerings to customers.

Coming into a fun, fast-paced and hard-working environment at the state-of-the-art R&D hub in South Dublin, this is an exciting opportunity to join a global company in supporting their digitalisation throughout the organisation and solve real-world problems to make lives of millions of people easier worldwide.

Your Role:

  • As the Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for you defining the architecture of their R&D projects.
  • You will own the cloud architecture, including principals, policies, tooling and infrastructure.
  • Be actively involved in the creation of new products.
  • Perform code reviews, design sessions and provide mentoring to the engineering team.


Your Skillset:

  • At least six years of experience in architecting and maintaining enterprise applications.
  • BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
  • Previous background in Software Engineering.
  • Expertise within distributed systems, event-driven and cloud native architectures.
  • Strong skills with Azure, AWS or GCP. (Cloud certifications are a bonus).
  • Experience of Agile frameworks, backend services and delivery of web-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with security technologies, standards (CSA, NIST, etc.) and compliance programs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps practices and Security as Code.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.



  • Salary up to €95k max. depending on experience.
