Information Security Analyst

Our client are emerging one of the top disruptive technology companies in the world and they making the booking experience simpler through their innovative travel platform.
They have recently set up an new state-of-the-art innovation hub in Dublin City Centre and they are looking to hire a Information Security Analyst to manage the company’s security needs.
Coming into a relaxing yet fast-paced and technically challenging environment, this is an exciting opportunity to ensure the company maintains a strong security stance in compliance with customer data and regulations.
As an Information Security analyst you will maintain the company’s security standards through assessing server and firewall logs and scrutinizing network traffic, as well as developing and updating vulnerability scans.
You will be responsible for connecting with all the main personnel and stakeholders to help roadmap the security needs across both the Dublin and US teams.
Be responsible for Application Security, Code reviews, Penetration testing for web applications and testing the network, Security Assessments, running Security Scans and analysing results.
Analyse and resolve security breaches when required in an accurate and timely manner.
Monitor all security systems and their associated software such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software etc.
Enforce policies and procedures for system security administration within the organisation.
Drive any security reconfigurations when required and keep up to date with the latest security alerts.
Research emerging protocols and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
Play a key part in their migration to the cloud by applying security focused cloud centric solutions and policies.
At least 4 years’ experience working in the security field for a SaaS driven organisation.
Knowledge of Cloud Security eg. GCP, Azure or AWS.
Experience working in Network Security.
Industry-standard certification, CISSP, CISA or similar.
Strong background in network equipment such as IDS/IPS, DIP, Firewalls, VPN, SIEM, WAF, Endpoint security along with a variety of assessment tools.
Excellent knowledge of network and platform operating systems.
TCP/IP and network administration/protocols
Knowledge of PCI, SOC and GDPR.
Skilled in running, analyzing and recommending solutions based on internal/external network scans as part of vulnerability management program
Strong troubleshooting and forensic skills.
