Our client, an IT Consulting firm, are hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Virginia on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the operations, sustainment and modernization of mission-critical initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain and optimize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, OMT, TSM, TSOM and Workforce Management.
Design and develop custom workflows, dashboards, forms, roles and reports to meet business requirements.
Build and manage integrations with third-party tools such as Elastic, Netcool and Kafka.
Oversee platform upgrades and partner with stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Document and streamline business process flows to align with operational needs.
Mentor and support junior developers, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD pipeline activities.

Skillset

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Active DoD Secret Clearance required on the first day of employment.
Security+ certification (or equivalent meeting DoD 8570 IAT Level II) must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with aa minimum of six years of hand-on experience within ServiceNow development.
Experience in designing and supporting technology infrastructure.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
Must be able to work on-site full-time at one of the designated locations.
