DevOps Manager
Our client, an AI-powered organization driving innovation in the government sector, is seeking a DevOps Manager to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will take ownership of designing, automating and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, while building and maintaining a secure, high-availability environment for their cloud-native AI platform.
Responsibilities

Lead deployment of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure Bicep and ARM templates.

Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Manage container orchestration via Azure Container Registry and Kubernetes (AKS), leveraging Helm for automation.

Architect resilient, multi-region environments across Azure Commercial and US Government clouds.

Oversee administration and performance of PostgreSQL, Redis, Minio, and Supabase data systems.

Drive observability practices using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana and Posthog.

Manage endpoint and device compliance through Microsoft InTune.

Design and manage secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Keycloak, Entra ID, SAML, and OIDC.

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.

Partner closely with product, engineering, and security teams to streamline operations and releases.
Skillset
-
U.S. Citizenship required with ability to successfully complete a federal background check.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or cloud infrastructure roles.

Demonstrated leadership of DevOps or SRE teams within SaaS or cloud-native organizations.

Deep expertise in Azure Bicep/ARM, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and GitHub Actions.

Proven ability to manage production-grade container registries and observability tooling.

Hands-on experience with U.S. Government cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Government) and related security frameworks.

Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), endpoint management, and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with regulated environments, including FedRAMP and NIST standards.

Experience architecting in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

Background working with GovCon clients or in the public sector SaaS space.
