Our client, an AI-powered organization driving innovation in the government sector, is seeking a DevOps Manager to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will take ownership of designing, automating and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, while building and maintaining a secure, high-availability environment for their cloud-native AI platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure Bicep and ARM templates.

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

  • Manage container orchestration via Azure Container Registry and Kubernetes (AKS), leveraging Helm for automation.

  • Architect resilient, multi-region environments across Azure Commercial and US Government clouds.

  • Oversee administration and performance of PostgreSQL, Redis, Minio, and Supabase data systems.

  • Drive observability practices using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana and Posthog.

  • Manage endpoint and device compliance through Microsoft InTune.

  • Design and manage secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Keycloak, Entra ID, SAML, and OIDC.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and security teams to streamline operations and releases.

Skillset

  • U.S. Citizenship required with ability to successfully complete a federal background check.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or cloud infrastructure roles.

  • Demonstrated leadership of DevOps or SRE teams within SaaS or cloud-native organizations.

  • Deep expertise in Azure Bicep/ARM, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and GitHub Actions.

  • Proven ability to manage production-grade container registries and observability tooling.

  • Hands-on experience with U.S. Government cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Government) and related security frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), endpoint management, and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with regulated environments, including FedRAMP and NIST standards.

  • Experience architecting in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

  • Background working with GovCon clients or in the public sector SaaS space.
