Our client, a leading IT Services and Consulting firm, are hiring a ServiceNow Portal Developer to join the team in Maryland on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be part of a high-impact project focused on building advanced portal solutions using UI Builder, custom widgets and real-time integrations, all in support of mission-critical workflows.

Responsibilities

Design and implement custom ServiceNow widgets using both client-side and server-side JavaScript.
Create and refine pages and workspaces in UI Builder, applying advanced component and data resource techniques.
Utilise web components within UI Builder to develop responsive, reusable UI elements.
Configure and support catalog items, record producers, Glide APIs, business rules and scripts to optimise service functionality.
Play a key role in shaping portal architecture, prioritising user experience, performance and scalability.

Skillset

Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI holders highly desirable.
Proven expertise in JavaScript development on both the client and server sides within the ServiceNow platform.
Extensive hands-on experience with custom widgets, widget controllers and the ServiceNow widget editor.
Strong grasp of UI Builder functionality and the use of web components for dynamic interface design.
Well-versed in configuring catalog items and working within the broader ServiceNow scripting environment.
