Our client, an AI-driven company revolutionizing GovTech, is hiring an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer (UX) to join the team remotely. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the company’s design system and overarching design principles, ensuring a unified and scalable experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and advancement of Figma practices, design patterns and workflows that promote smooth collaboration between design and engineering teams.

  • Conduct thorough user research, such as interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis, to guide and validate design choices.

  • Create user-friendly AI-driven experiences that make complex technology accessible and intuitive for users of varying expertise.

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to transform user insights into compelling, business-focused design solutions.

  • Drive continuous innovation in design methods, utilizing AI-powered tools to boost efficiency and elevate design quality.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, standards and processes that support fast, consistent delivery of superior user experiences.

Skillset

  • U.S. citizen with the ability to successfully complete a Federal Background Check and Identity Verification.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of experience in SaaS, preferably within fast-growing startups, demonstrating strong expertise in user-centered design.

  • Proficient in Figma, including building and managing design systems, component libraries, prototyping, and supporting collaborative workflows.

  • Experienced in AI-assisted design processes and creating AI-powered products that simplify complex functionalities for users.

  • Skilled in designing responsive web and mobile user interfaces.

  • Experience crafting interfaces for data-intensive dashboards and analytics tools.

  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and commitment to inclusive design practices.
