ServiceNow ITAM (SAM) Technical Consultant – Retail
Project Duration: 3 months (initial engagement, extension possible)
Location: Remote (EU required)

Our client, a global IT Company, are hiring a hands-on ServiceNow ITAM Technical Consultant with experience implementing SAM Pro in complex environments. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of SAM features for a major retail customer, ensuring coverage across a diverse footprint of store devices, back-office systems and third-party tools.
Responsibilities
- 
Implement and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro features including normalization, reconciliation and publisher packs.
 - 
Integrate with discovery sources such as SCCM, Flexera or native ServiceNow Discovery across retail infrastructure.
 - 
Script and configure license metrics, entitlements and rules tailored to retail software usage patterns.
 - 
Address software licensing complexities across high-volume, distributed endpoints (e.g., POS systems, kiosks, endpoints).
 - 
Collaborate with the solutions consultant and retail business teams to ensure seamless deployment.
 
Skillset
- 
Strong technical implementation experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, including real-world project delivery.
 - 
Experience working with software asset data from distributed systems and large device inventories.
 - 
Proficient in ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
 - 
Understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB structure, and SAM-related integrations.
 - 
Retail project experience is a strong plus.
