ServiceNow Integrations Engineer

Our client, a global insurance organization, are hiring a skilled ServiceNow Integrations Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Illinois. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain seamless integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, playing a crucial role in driving automation, workflow connectivity and efficient data exchange across the business.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems such as Azure DevOps and Jira DevOps.

• Enable automated work item creation, CI/CD updates and release workflow management.

• Build bi-directional integrations to synchronise incidents, changes, tasks, stories and sprint metrics.

• Implement Dynatrace integrations for event ingestion, alert normalisation, CMDB enrichment and automated ticket creation.

• Configure and manage Workday integrations for HRSD, user provisioning and lifecycle events.

• Leverage IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server and scripted APIs to deliver tailored integration solutions.

• Design secure, scalable integration architectures following platform best practices and enterprise security standards.

• Develop integration logic for data transformation, normalisation, error handling and retry mechanisms.

• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure reliable system performance.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, HR, DevOps and IT operations teams to support ongoing automation initiatives.

Skillset

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations.

• CSA certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as CIS-ITSM, CAD, or IntegrationHub is a bonus.

• Strong expertise with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, Basic Auth and token-based authentication.

• Proven track record integrating ServiceNow with Azure DevOps, Jira DevOps, Dynatrace and Workday.

• Proficient in ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Scripted REST APIs and MID Server configuration.

• Solid understanding of ITSM, ITOM and HRSD processes that support integration use cases.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex integration issues.
