Senior ServiceNow Developer

Our client, an established IT Services company, is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team remotely on a 9-month contract. The successful candidate will lead the design, development and optimization of ServiceNow applications and processes, including workflows, integrations and automation solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules and client-server scripts.

• Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and ServiceNow components into the existing IT architecture.

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.

• Plan, develop, test and deploy applications and automation workflows.

• Create test data, document test scenarios, execute tests and analyze outcomes.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve systems, applications and production issues.

• Support system enhancements, workflow optimization and process modelling initiatives.

• Implement ServiceNow best practices using platform features, APIs and scripting tools.

• Coordinate system testing and assist end-users during acceptance testing.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

• At least 8 years of experience in programming or application development, including substantial hands-on experience with ServiceNow.

• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and/or Federal Enterprise Architect Certification (FEAC) are highly desirable.
