Our client, a growing company working within freight data, is hiring a Product Manager to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will join as the company’s first product management hire, giving them a rare opportunity to define the role, shape the roadmap and craft the product experience from day one.

Responsibilities

Drive impactful improvements across API endpoints, schemas, data models and webhooks.
Collaborate closely with engineering to deliver solutions that developers can integrate quickly, trust fully and confidently build on.
Work with their product specialist to create clear, engaging documentation, integration guides, onboarding tutorials and code examples that accelerate first-time success.
Lead the complete onboarding experience for fleets and platform customers.
Streamline processes, clarify setup and guide customers to the “aha” moment where the company’s data demonstrates its value.
Engage directly with brokers, TMSs, fintechs, and fleets to understand operational workflows and uncover where data adds or misses value.
Translate customer insights into actionable roadmap priorities, shaping the product’s direction rather than simply informing it.

Skillset

At least 4 years of product management experience, ideally with APIs, data platforms, developer tools or SaaS infrastructure.
Proven experience managing technical or API-driven products with a strong focus on developer experience.
Comfortable working with schemas, data models and complex integration workflows.
Expert at turning operational challenges into clear, actionable product requirements.
Ability to write precise specs, make informed decisions with incomplete information and drive initiatives forward.
Thrives in ambiguity and can independently define direction when needed.
Demonstrated success shipping platform or API products that integrate smoothly in real-world environments.
Capable of communicating effectively with developers, engineers and freight operators alike.
Experience in logistics, supply chain or fintech is an advantage.
