Job: IT Audit & Security Manager
Location: Dublin/Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: DOE
Alldus are partnering with a leading IT Audit & Security practice in Ireland who are looking to expand their team with a locally based contractor. There is scope for extension beyond the initial 6 month engagement.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes responsibility for:
– Managing a portfolio of internal IT audits of varying size, scope, and complexity
– Building and maintaining strong client relationships
– Developing audit plans and scoping IT audits in outsourced and co-sourced arrangements
– Overseeing audit fieldwork, including managing, guiding, and reviewing junior team members
– Reviewing audit working papers
– Drafting audit reports, including findings and recommendations
– Liaising with audit staff and client management
– Presenting at audit committee meetings
– Ensuring audit quality standards are met
– Contributing to the leadership, growth, and development of the IT audit team
– Supporting training and development of IT audit staff
– Contributing to the enhancement of internal IT audit methodologies
Required:
– Minimum of 5 years’ IT audit experience within a professional services firm
– Prior internal IT audit experience, particularly within financial services (outsourced, co-sourced, or similar models)
– Experience managing internal IT audit teams
– Primary degree in audit, IT, engineering, security, or a related discipline
– Recognised IT audit qualification (e.g. CISA, CISM, or equivalent)
– Strong technical knowledge across applications, infrastructure, networking, and IT controls
– Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Strong organisational, planning, and self-management skills
– Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
– Strong project management capability
– Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
