Our client, a global financial services company, is hiring a ServiceNow Platform Architect for a contract position in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the platform’s architecture, integrations and best practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives while enhancing performance and driving innovation.

Responsibilities

  • As the ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will assess and convert business and technical requirements into a strategic architectural blueprint to support business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain reference architecture along with up-to-date platform architecture diagrams.
  • Promote standardization and best practices to ensure effective platform management and value-driven delivery.
  • Implement technical governance to enhance platform performance and mitigate long-term technical risks.
  • Facilitate seamless upgrades to new features and innovations that drive business value.
  • Define, oversee and support the execution of technical governance processes.
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for sustaining the ServiceNow architecture and platform health.
  • Assess technical demands in relation to the ServiceNow platform’s architecture, capabilities, and best practices.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the existing architecture while providing architectural controls for business solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize delivery governance, ensuring successful go-lives, user adoption and ongoing platform support.

Skillset

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
  • Extensive knowledge of workflows, tables, scripting, Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure Operations, system migration and integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications.
  • Expertise in client-side and server-side scripting, including business rules, script actions and script includes.
  • Certified Technical Architect (preferred).
  • Certification in one or more of the following: CSA, CAD, ITSM, ITOM, HR or APM (EA).
  • Strong familiarity with the ITIL framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse and remote teams.
