Applied ML Researcher

Our client, an AI-driven company impacting the financial services industry, is hiring an Applied Machine Learning Researcher to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will play a key part in developing their agentic architecture and building intelligent, modular systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s applied research initiatives focused on multi-agent systems.

• Track the latest developments in machine learning and surface ideas with potential impact across the organization.

• Design and run experiments to test and validate critical hypotheses.

• Develop fast, functional prototypes to explore and showcase new concepts.

• Help shape and evolve their long-term machine learning strategy.

Skillset

• At least four years of hands-on experience in machine learning research.

• Deep familiarity with agent-based systems, reinforcement learning, fine-tuning techniques and/or prompt engineering.

• Strong technical skills in coding and rapid prototyping.

• Previous experience at a high-growth, product-focused company is a bonus.
   

Benefits

• Salary: $150k – $300k DOE
