ServiceNow ITOM Consultant
Location- Springfield, VA or Tampa, FL
Duration- 6 months with the possibility of extension

Our client, a leading IT Consulting organization, are hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Consultant to join their team on a six-month contract. The successful candidate will collaborate with forward-thinking customers to design and optimize network, storage and compute infrastructures within the ServiceNow CMDB.

Responsibilities

Define solution requirements, architect integrations, and lead implementation efforts.
Provide both hands-on configuration and leadership across project teams.
Provide expert guidance on CMDB and Service Mapping design, modeling and strategy.
Perform current-state evaluations and define target-state architectural solutions.
Lead the configuration and deployment of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping capabilities.
Drive integration initiatives across application, infrastructure and cloud environments.
Offer technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams and junior consultants.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on CSDM 4.0 and ITSM/ITIL best practices.

Skillset

Must hold an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
Over 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, focusing on CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Enterprise Architecture and integrations.
Possess ServiceNow Mainline Certifications in Discovery and Service Mapping.
Hold ServiceNow Micro-certification in CMDB.
Proven expertise in Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 4.0, including modeling of network, storage and compute infrastructures.
Strong understanding of application and infrastructure architectures, including cloud platforms, container technologies, and application services.
Strong experience implementing ITSM/ITIL® processes and CMDB solutions.
Previous experience in professional services or IT consulting roles.
Expertise in defining tool requirements based on future-state (To-Be) process documentation.
