Our client, a global consulting firm, are hiring an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to support compliance, risk mitigation, and security operations for an exciting project. If you’re skilled in ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and industry best practices, this role offers a chance to work closely with IT teams, security specialists and governance leads to enhance cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

  • Lead security awareness initiatives, educating teams on best practices

  • Collaborate with IT to implement security improvements and mitigate risks

  • Monitor security events through SIEM tools to detect and address potential threats

  • Maintain security documentation, report on incidents, and contribute to audits

  • Optimize security tools like firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms

  • Conduct cybersecurity evaluations for third-party tool requests

  • Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies

Skillset

  • At least 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (ideally in contract/project environments).

  • Strong understanding of network security, incident response and risk assessment.

  • Experience working with SIEM tools and enterprise security platforms.

  • Expertise across ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, GDPR compliance and modern security strategies.

  • Strong communicator with experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
