Appian Senior Developer / Consultant

Our client, an established IT Services company, are hiring a Senior Appian Consultant to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design, architect and deliver Appian-based solutions that address complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support implementation teams in delivering complex solutions built on the Appian platform.

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performing applications tailored to client needs.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

• Offer strategic architectural insights and hands-on support in areas such as configuration management, DevSecOps and technical best practices.

• Lead client demonstrations and provide comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.

• Champion process optimization initiatives and contribute innovative ideas that enhance solution delivery.

• Mentor junior team members, and nurture skill development and professional growth through coaching and collaboration.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or similar.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering Appian-based solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in the IT industry.

• Possess an active Appian Senior or Lead Developer Certification.

• Proficient in Appian, relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), and integration technologies (RESTful/SOAP APIs, Mule, IIB or Fusion).

• Proven expertise in Agile development methodologies and practices. Agile certification is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, effective communication and organizational skills.
