ServiceNow SPM Developer
Our client, a global IT Consulting firm, is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join the team in New York on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be integral to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, designing, implementing, testing, deploying and providing ongoing support for client applications.
Responsibilities
- Engage actively in technical planning and requirements gathering sessions.
- Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions.
- Maintain compliance with established development processes and industry standards.
- Build and deploy applications on the ServiceNow platform, specialising in SPM and ITSM modules.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues of varying skill levels to achieve project goals.
Skillset
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proven expertise implementing multiple SPM modules, including Demand, Strategy & Goal Setting, Capacity Planning and Project Management.
- Strong experience configuring ITSM modules such as Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management, including Major Incident knowledge.
- Solid understanding of CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
- Proficiency with Glide API and JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Skilled in creating dashboards and reports with Performance Analytics and Platform Analytics.
