Our client, an innovator in the environmental industry, are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will join their growing software team, responsible for driving the development of their next-generation platform and ensuring smooth, scalable cloud operations.

Responsibilities

Design and implement reliable backend services to support high-volume, real-time recycling operations.
Create responsive, user-centric frontends.
Develop and maintain software powering their AI-based platform, including customer portals, recycling centre dashboards and internal BI tools.
Work closely with a collaborative, fast-moving team to enhance system performance and elevate the user experience.
Support and evolve their cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security and operational excellence.

Skillset

At least 3 years of experience working across the full stack in a production environment.
Proven ability to build scalable backend systems using Python and Flask.
Hands-on experience crafting intuitive frontends with React, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Strong grasp of SQL and relational database design.
Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for authentication.
Experience integrating with IoT devices or working at the intersection of hardware and software is a bonus.
