Our client, an AI-driven organization who have recently opened a new EU HQ, are hiring a a Senior Software Developer to join their backend development team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative projects and scalable backend solutions that drive the success of an AI leader in its domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend systems using Python and C++.

• Build scalable, high-performance APIs and services to support AI-driven applications.

• Optimise system performance, troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and influence best practices within the team.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry standards.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and scalability.

Skillset

• 7+ years of experience in software development using Python and C++.

• Understanding of backend development principles and database management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience working on AI projects advantageous.
