Freelance Senior Technical Consultant – ServiceNow SPM (Aviation Sector)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join a ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) project for one of our aviation customers.

Role Overview:

Act as a technical SME for the ServiceNow SPM module (formerly ITBM).
Configure, customise, and extend ServiceNow SPM applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Integrate SPM with other ServiceNow modules and third-party systems.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Provide guidance on technical best practices, performance optimisation, and ServiceNow standards.
Support testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, with strong expertise in SPM/ITBM.
Hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration, scripting (Glide, JavaScript), workflows, Flow Designer, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
Familiarity with portfolio, demand, project, and resource management processes.
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-PPM/SPM, CAD) highly desirable.
Experience working in aviation or highly regulated industries is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
