Platform Owners – Workday (HCM & Finance)

Contract: 6 months (Inside IR35 or Fixed Term)

Our client, an innovator in the Insurance sector, are hiring two Platform Owners to oversee the Workday HCM and Workday Finance ecosystems. These roles ensure smooth integration, performance, and continuous improvement of Workday and related HR/Finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Workday roadmap, configuration, testing and maintenance.

• Oversee integrations with related systems (e.g. onboarding, recognition, data services).

• Align platforms with business strategy, ensuring data security, compliance and value delivery.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and vendors on enhancements, priorities and issue resolution.

• Monitor platform performance, manage change and stay current with Workday releases.

Skillset

• Experienced in Workday configuration and platform ownership (HCM and/or Finance).

• Strong understanding of HR and Finance processes, including Workday Financials, Prism, Accounting Centre and Adaptive Planning.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical translation skills.

• Knowledge of SaaS management, integrations and data governance.
