ServiceNow Developer – Top Secret
Our client, an IT Solutions organization, are hiring an experienced ServiceNow Developer with Top Secret Clearance to join the team in Maryland. The successful candidate will play a key role in mission-critical federal initiatives, responsible for designing, developing and implementing innovative ServiceNow solutions that enhance efficiency, security and scalability across complex environments.
Responsibilities

Design, develop and customize ServiceNow applications, including scoped apps, business rules, and workflows.

Leverage out-of-the-box (OOB) functionality and create scalable custom solutions when necessary.

Write efficient, maintainable JavaScript code within the ServiceNow framework.

Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to transform business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.

Engage fully in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews and testing.

Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow modules, ensuring platform stability, compliance and optimal performance.

Support technical documentation, governance practices and version control processes.
Skillset
-
Active Top Secret Clearance is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is required.

ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is a plus.

Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting and ServiceNow APIs.

Proven experience with Scoped Applications, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer.

Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and out-of-the-box capabilities.

Experience working in federal or other highly regulated environments is a bonus.

Experience with ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow product suites.
