Our client, an AI-driven SaaS startup, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible to design, build and scale both frontend and backend systems that power innovative AI products.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, prototype concepts and deliver new features.
Architect, develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.
Develop clean, modular code and well-structured interfaces to support integration-heavy systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Contribute to code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and promote knowledge sharing.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance product performance and innovation.

Skillset

Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer with a solid portfolio of web-based applications.
Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript and modern server-side technologies.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming and scalable application architecture.
Proficient in Git and collaborative version control workflows.
Hands-on experience working with generative AI APIs, embeddings, streaming outputs or tool calling is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration and cloud-based infrastructure.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities with strong communication and teamwork skills.
