Contract

Our client, a leading business solutions provider, is hiring an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join the team on a contract basis in Illinois. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) to help businesses enhance efficiency, drive innovation and optimize their IT operations within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

Implement and provide ongoing support for ServiceNow CMDB and Asset Management integrations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance HAM and SAM processes in alignment with broader ITSM and ITAM strategies.
Maintain accurate asset lifecycle tracking and ensure data integrity across ServiceNow modules.
Configure and manage the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including software models, entitlements and license metrics.
Perform regular license reconciliations and establish the Effective License Position (ELP).
Develop JavaScript scripts and leverage integrations (e.g. SCCM, Discovery) to automate and optimize SAM workflows.
Design and automate processes for hardware acquisition, deployment, maintenance and disposal, ensuring compliance with ITAD standards.
Uphold HAM data integrity within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using ServiceNow Discovery and integration tools.
Build and implement API and Web Service integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.

Skillset

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ITAM/ITSM implementation, configuration and support.
Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CSDM and Asset Lifecycle Management.
Proven experience developing integrations with procurement systems such as Coupa and Zip.
Solid background in integration technologies, including Web Services, SOAP, HTTP and MID Server.
In-depth knowledge of Service Mapping and Asset Discovery within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
