Technical Project Manager – ServiceNow Cloud Migration (Contract)
Location: Germany (Hybrid)

Our client, a global IT Services and Consulting company, is hiring an experienced Technical Project Manager / Programme Manager to join the team in Germany on a nine-month contract. Working on a large-scale transformation programme moving from a single-service provider model to a multi-service provider environment, the successful candidate will lead the on-premise to ServiceNow Cloud migration, from initial assessment and planning through to testing, pilot migration and final go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ServiceNow on-prem to cloud migration project as overall Transition Manager / Programme Manager.

  • Assess the current landscape (data, modules, and integrations) and plan a detailed, step-by-step migration roadmap.

  • Oversee planning, testing and implementation phases, including a controlled pilot and final migration weekend.

  • Manage all stakeholder relationships across the company, clients and ServiceNow (triangle management structure).

  • Drive governance, quality assurance and risk management across all project stages.

  • Ensure alignment with compliance and KRITIS (critical infrastructure) requirements.

  • Deliver a stable, scalable and optimised ServiceNow cloud environment.

Skillset

  • At least 10 years of experience managing complex IT transformation projects (in Triangular relationship)

  • Minimum of 5 years in the role of Transition Manager / Technical Project Manager within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

  • Proven track record delivering on-prem to ServiceNow Cloud migrations end-to-end.

  • Strong technical understanding of ServiceNow instances, integrations, and infrastructure.

  • Prior experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant or equivalent highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of KRITIS-relevant environments and associated compliance frameworks.

  • Project Management Certification (PMI, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in German (C2/native) and proficient in English.
