ITSM Technical Consultant (UI Builder & Source Control)
Location: Remote (within the EU)
Contract: Full-time, 5-week contract
Start Date: Immediate

Our client, a leading retail company, are hiring an ITSM Request Technical Consultant with strong experience configuring and enhancing IT Service Management request workflows and interfaces to join the team. The successful candidate will work with business and IT stakeholders in the retail sector to deliver streamlined, user-centric ITSM service request solutions. The role requires immediate availability and the ability to work remotely within the EU.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and implement ITSM service request forms and workflows tailored to retail operations.

  • Use UI Builder tools to create intuitive, efficient request interfaces for end users.

  • Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical designs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to form logic, workflows and integrations.

  • Prepare documentation covering configurations, design decisions and environment changes.

  • Support testing cycles including unit, functional and UAT.

  • Utilize source control tools to manage configuration versions and deployment processes.

Skillset

  • Proven experience as an ITSM Technical Consultant, ideally supporting retail or high-volume operational environments.

  • Hands-on experience with UI builders for ITSM platforms.

  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and service request lifecycle.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into clean, functional configurations.

  • Source control experience (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.

  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently with tight turnaround times.

Additional Information

This is a time-sensitive, full-time contract lasting 5 weeks, with an immediate start. Candidates must be based in the EU and able to work remotely throughout the engagement.
